SDI not paying disability - what to do?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my disability payments. They're not paying me and I don't know why. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do next?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there about why payments are held up. Could be missing docs or somethin

This happened to me last year. Turns out they needed additional medical info from my doctor. Once I got that sorted, payments started coming through. Might be worth checking if thats the issue for you too

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any messages or alerts 2. Make sure all your paperwork is up to date (medical certifications, etc) 3. If you can't find any issues, you NEED to talk to someone. Use that calling service someone mentioned above or keep trying the regular number 4. If you get through, ask for a specific reason why payments are held up and what you need to do to fix it 5. Get everything in writing if possible 6. If they say they need more info, send it certified mail so you have proof 7. Keep a log of all your calls and attempts to resolve this If none of that works, consider reaching out to your local state representative. They sometimes have staff who can help navigate these issues. Don't give up! The system sucks but you gotta keep pushing.
