Can't find where to upload 2580g form on website. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble uploading my 2580g form. The website says there's a place to upload documents, but I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any tips on where to look or who to contact? I've been trying to figure this out for hours and I'm getting really frustrated.

Ugh, I had the same problem last week! It's so annoying when they say there's a way to do something but don't make it clear where or how. Have you tried calling their support line?

I tried calling but I've been on hold forever. It's like they don't want us to actually get through to anyone 🙄

Pro tip: call right when they open. You'll still wait, but not as long.

I found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It saved me hours of hold time.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😤

I get it, but for me, it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time on hold.

Have you checked under the 'Documents' or 'Forms' section of your account? Sometimes its hidden in a weird place.

This happened to me too! Turns out, the upload option only appears AFTER you've completed a certain part of your application. Make sure you've filled out everything else first, then check again.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I'll double-check everything. Thanks for the tip!

This is the kind of stuff they should tell us upfront. So frustrating!

Here's what worked for me: 1. Log out and clear your browser cache 2. Log back in 3. Go to 'My Account' > 'Document Center' 4. Look for a button that says 'Upload New Document' 5. If you don't see it, try a different browser If none of that works, there might be a glitch in the system. In that case, you'll probably need to call them directly. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the detailed steps! I'll try this right away.

Preach! 🙌 It's like they're stuck in the stone age or something

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes logging out and back in can refresh the page and make new options appear.

I'm in the same boat, been trying to upload my form for days. This whole system needs an overhaul.

I had this exact same issue a few months ago! The upload feature is really poorly designed. What finally worked for me was accessing it through the mobile app instead of the website. For some reason, the upload button showed up there when it wouldn't appear on desktop. If you don't have the app, you can also try accessing the mobile version of the site through your phone's browser. Also, make sure your form is saved as a PDF - I think they're picky about file formats. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the mobile app tip! I never would have thought to try that. It's so weird how the same system can work differently on different platforms. I'm definitely going to download the app and give it a shot. And good call on the PDF format - I was actually trying to upload it as a JPEG screenshot 🤦‍♀️

I just went through this nightmare last month! Here's what I discovered after way too much trial and error: the upload feature is tied to your case status. If your disability claim is still in "initial review" status, the upload option won't show up at all. You have to wait until they move you to "pending additional documentation" status, which can take 2-3 weeks. It's incredibly frustrating because nowhere on the site does it explain this! I only found out when I finally got through to someone on the phone. You can check your case status under "Claim History" - if it's still in initial review, that's why you can't upload anything yet. Super backwards system if you ask me.
