Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Hey OP, how long has it been since your doctor submitted the extension? Sometimes it can take a few weeks to process.
It's been about 3 weeks now. I'm getting worried because bills are piling up 😰
Hang in there! 3 weeks is pushing it, but not unheard of. Def follow up if you don't hear anything by the end of this week.

Pro tip: If you fax your documents instead of mailing them, it can speed up the process. Just make sure to keep the fax confirmation!

Anybody else notice that ever since covid, getting ahold of ANY government agency is like 10 times harder? smh

Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

Just call their office and explain your situation. They usually have staff dedicated to helping constituents with stuff like this.

Pro tip: start gathering all your pay stubs and employment info now. EDD might ask for it later and having it ready will speed things up!
Does anyone know if theres a way to check the status of your claim online? Tired of waiting for snail mail 🐌
Yeah, you can check on the EDD website. Log into your account and go to the claim status section. It's not always super up to date tho

OP, what state are you in? The process can vary a lot depending on where you are. In my state, there's a specific ombudsman office for disability payment issues that can sometimes help speed things up.
