Same boat here. Payment pending since Monday and it's Friday now. Starting to panic about rent.

I tried that Claimyr thing someone mentioned earlier and holy crap it actually worked! Got through to Washington ESD in like 20 minutes instead of spending all day hitting redial. Agent said my payment was held up because of some automated flag but she cleared it right away.

Washington ESD's automated system flags claims for the stupidest reasons. I've had payments delayed because I reported working 2.5 hours instead of rounding to 3 hours. Their system treats any decimal as suspicious.

Sometimes pending payments are because Washington ESD is verifying your job search activities. They randomly audit claims to make sure you're actually looking for work.

My cousin works at Washington ESD and she says their computer system is from like the 90s. Everything breaks constantly and they can't fix it fast enough.

For future reference, if your payment is pending more than 5 business days you should definitely try to contact Washington ESD. That's usually when there's an actual issue that needs manual intervention.
