ESD website not showing option to file weekly claim - technical error?
Is anyone else having problems with the ESD website right now? I logged in this morning to file my weekly claim like I always do, but the option to file isn't showing up anywhere on my dashboard. I've been claiming for 6 weeks without any issues until today. I've tried logging out and back in, clearing my browser cache, and even using my phone instead of computer, but nothing works. The website seems to be running fine otherwise - I can see my claim history and all that stuff, just no option to file for this week. My payment day is Tuesday and I'm getting really nervous about missing the filing window. Help!!

What day of the week is it for you? Remember you can only file during your assigned claim week, which starts on Sunday. If you're trying to file early, the option won't appear until your filing week officially opens.

•It's definitely my filing week - today is Monday and I've always filed on Mondays. That's why I'm freaking out a bit because the option should definitely be there.

check if ur in pending status for anything. sometimes when they got a hold on ur account they dont let u file till its resolved

The same thing happened to me last month!!!! The website has been having TONS of glitches since they did that system update in January. I couldn't file for two weeks and almost lost my mind. Try calling them RIGHT AWAY because if you miss your filing window they'll make you jump through a million hoops to get it fixed.

Then look at your claim summary page to verify your claim is still active. If everything looks normal there, it's likely a technical glitch on their end.

After trying to call ESD for three days straight during my similar issue last month (the website wouldn't let me complete my job search log), I finally used Claimyr to get through to an actual agent. They have this service where they basically wait on hold for you and then call you when an ESD agent is available. Saved me hours of frustration! •It's actually pretty reasonable considering how much time it saves. They don't charge until they actually connect you with an agent. Totally worth it for me when I was about to miss my payment deadline.

Before you panic too much, have you tried using a completely different browser? Sometimes the ESD site has weird compatibility issues. Last time Firefox wouldn't work for me but Chrome did. Also check if you have any browser extensions that might be blocking functionality.

One more thing to try - check if you completed all required job search activities for the previous week. The system sometimes won't let you file the current week if there's an issue with your previous week's job search verification. If you're still unable to access the filing option, contacting ESD directly is your best option at this point.

•Yes! Finally got it resolved. I used the Claimyr service to get through to ESD (after trying to call for hours on my own with no luck). Turns out there was a system flag on my account because my previous employer submitted some information that didn't match what I reported. The agent was able to clear the flag and let me file my weekly claim over the phone. The website works normally for me now. Hope you get yours fixed too!
