The reality is there's no extension available right now unless something changes at the federal level. Focus on maximizing your remaining weeks and preparing for after your benefits end.
One more suggestion - if you do end up using Claimyr to talk to Washington ESD, ask them about any hardship programs or if there are any other benefits you might be eligible for that you haven't considered.
The whole process is designed to be confusing I swear. But once you figure out where to look it's not too bad. Good luck!
The maximum 26 weeks can go by faster than you think. Make sure you're actively job searching from day one, not just going through the motions.
One more thing - make sure all your contact information is up to date with Washington ESD. If they need to reach you about your claim and can't, it can delay or stop your benefits.
Don't overthink it - just apply like anyone else would. Being pregnant doesn't change the process at all.

One last thing - make sure you understand the difference between your claim effective date and when you can actually start collecting. They're not always the same day.

•Can you explain that difference a bit more?

•Your effective date is when your claim starts, but you might have a waiting week or other factors that delay your first payment. ESD will explain this when you file.
