If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

This thread has been such a goldmine of information! I'm actually in this exact same situation right now - just accepted a job offer this morning with a start date of August 4th, so I'm looking at about 14 weeks of waiting. I was literally having a complete meltdown last night thinking I might accidentally commit fraud by continuing to file my weekly claims! Reading through everyone's experiences has been incredibly reassuring. The pattern is so clear: be 100% honest on weekly claims about having future work lined up, keep doing those job search activities (even though it feels completely pointless when you already have a job secured), and document absolutely everything. I'm creating my documentation folder right now with my offer letter and will start taking screenshots of every single weekly claim submission. The tip about Sunday-Saturday earnings reporting when I actually start is so helpful - I definitely would have screwed that up without the heads up! It's honestly mind-boggling that this scenario is SO incredibly common based on all these responses, yet ESD's website provides literally zero guidance about it. Thank god for this community filling in the massive gaps in their official information! This thread has probably saved dozens of people from unnecessary panic attacks. Thanks to everyone who took the time to share their experiences - you've completely transformed what felt like a nightmare situation into something totally manageable! 🙏✨

This thread is absolutely amazing! I'm currently in this exact situation - just accepted a job offer last week with a start date of August 11th, so I've got about 15 weeks of waiting ahead of me. I was literally losing my mind yesterday thinking I might be breaking some rule by continuing to file weekly claims, especially after stumbling across some nightmare stories about people getting massive overpayment bills. Reading through all these experiences has been such a lifesaver! The consensus is crystal clear: complete honesty on weekly claims about future work, keep grinding through those job search activities (even when it feels totally absurd since you already have a job), and document every single thing religiously. I'm building my documentation fortress today - offer letter secured, and I'll be screenshotting every weekly claim like my life depends on it. That Sunday-Saturday earnings tip is pure gold for when I actually start working! It's absolutely wild that this scenario happens to SO many people based on this thread, yet ESD treats it like some mysterious edge case on their website. This community is literally carrying the entire system on its back! Thank you to everyone who shared their stories - you've turned what felt like walking through a minefield into a totally manageable process. This thread deserves to be hall of fame status! 🏆

Just want to echo what everyone else is saying - this thread is a lifesaver! I was in the same exact position a few weeks ago, completely lost about the work registration thing. The WorkSource registration at worksourcewa.com really is straightforward once you know what you're doing. One thing I'd add is don't stress too much about making your profile perfect right away - you can always go back and update your resume and skills later. The important thing is just getting registered within that 7-day window so you stay compliant with the requirements. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for adding that tip about not needing to make the profile perfect right away! I was definitely overthinking that part - worried about having every single detail of my work history perfectly formatted before submitting. It's good to know I can get the basic registration done to meet the requirement and then polish it up later. This whole conversation has really helped calm my nerves about the process.

Just wanted to add my experience - I was in a similar panic about this a month ago. The WorkSource registration really isn't as scary as it seems! I spent way too much time worrying about it before actually doing it. One thing that helped me was having all my previous job info written down before I started - dates, job titles, company names, etc. Made the whole process go much smoother. Also, don't worry if you can't remember exact dates for older jobs - they're not going to reject your registration over being off by a month or two. The key is just getting it done and then you can focus on the weekly job search activities. This community has been so helpful for navigating all the Washington ESD requirements!

Hey everyone! I just stumbled across this thread and WOW - this is exactly what I needed! I've been stuck with that "additional information needed" status for 3 weeks now and getting nowhere with the main ESD number. Like so many of you, I just get busy signals or hung up on after hours of waiting. Reading through all these experiences, I think I might be dealing with multiple issues too. I moved from Tacoma to Bellingham last month and updated my driver's license but totally forgot about updating my ESD address until I saw @Zoe Dimitriou's comment about the WorkSource mismatch. Plus I've been checking my claim from different coffee shops around town (job hunting life!) so the VPN/multiple location flags that @Amun-Ra Azra mentioned could definitely be affecting me. I'm going to try calling that Olympia direct line (360-902-9500) first thing Monday morning around 10am. This thread has been more helpful than anything on ESD's actual website! I'll make sure to: - Update my address in eServices before calling - Ask for a reference number and detailed notes - Request an email summary of the call - Upload all requested documents at once if there are multiple flags Thank you all for sharing your phone numbers and detailed experiences. It's so reassuring to know I'm not alone in this bureaucratic nightmare. I'll definitely update with my results! 🙏

Welcome to our ESD survivors group, @Ravi Sharma! 😊 Your plan sounds perfect based on everything we've learned here. The Tacoma to Bellingham move plus checking from different coffee shops is definitely a recipe for triggering multiple flags - I had almost the exact same situation. One quick tip for your Monday call: since you mentioned checking from coffee shops, you might want to ask the agent specifically about location-based security flags when you call. When I explained my situation (working remotely, different networks), the agent was able to see all the "suspicious activity" notifications in my file and clear those flags on the spot. It saved me from having to deal with additional verification later. Also, definitely update that WorkSource address too if you haven't already - that mismatch caught several people in this thread off guard! The Bellingham area WorkSource is pretty good about processing updates quickly from what I've heard. You're going in with way more knowledge than most of us had, so I'm optimistic you'll get this resolved quickly. Can't wait to hear your success story! This thread has seriously become the best ESD resource on the internet 💪

Hey @Ravi Sharma! Your situation sounds so similar to mine - I was also bouncing between different locations for job hunting and had no idea that could trigger security flags. One thing I learned from calling that Olympia number is that they can actually see a log of all your login locations and IP addresses, which helped explain why my account got flagged. Since you're in the Bellingham area, you might also want to have the number for the local WorkSource office handy just in case there are any registration sync issues: (360) 676-4400. I had to call them separately to update some information that wasn't syncing properly between systems. Also, when you update your eServices address, double-check that both your mailing address AND physical address match your new Bellingham location. I made the mistake of only updating one initially and it caused additional confusion. This thread has been a lifesaver for all of us dealing with these issues! Looking forward to hearing about your success on Monday. The fact that you're going in with a clear plan and all these phone numbers gives you such a huge advantage! 🤞

This thread is absolutely incredible - I can't believe how much more helpful this community is than ESD's official resources! I'm currently stuck in the same "additional information needed" nightmare that everyone's describing. Been trying the main number (833-572-8400) for over two weeks with nothing but busy signals and disconnections. My situation is a bit different though - I haven't moved recently or changed addresses, but I did have to submit additional identity documents about a month ago when my claim was first flagged. Now it's showing "additional information needed" again and I have no idea what they want this time. I'm worried they lost my documents or there's some other issue I'm not aware of. I'm definitely going to try that Olympia direct line (360-902-9500) that @CosmicCowboy shared - the fact that @Connor O'Reilly got through in just 15 minutes is giving me so much hope! I'll also try sending a message through eServices like @Javier Torres suggested, since that seemed to work well for getting specific details about what they need. Thank you all for creating this amazing resource of phone numbers and strategies. Reading through everyone's detailed experiences has been more informative than anything I could find on ESD's website. I'll definitely report back with my results and any new information I learn. This community support is literally what's keeping me sane through this process! 🙏

Bottom line - you have every right to apply for unemployment if you lost your job through no fault of your own. Being on disability doesn't automatically disqualify you, especially since you were already working. Just make sure you can honestly say you're able and available for work within your limitations.

Good luck! The worst they can do is say no, but it sounds like you have a solid case for approval.

And remember, if you need to talk to someone at Washington ESD directly, don't waste hours on hold. That Claimyr service I mentioned earlier really does work.

I went through this exact situation about 18 months ago - was on SSDI and working part-time at a retail store when I got laid off. The application process was actually pretty straightforward once I understood what they needed. The key things that helped me: 1) I had clear documentation from my doctor about what work I could do, 2) I was honest about my social security income on every weekly claim, and 3) I made sure to emphasize that I was actively looking for work within my physical limitations. Washington ESD approved me without any issues. The hardest part was just getting through to someone initially to ask questions, but once I did they were actually very helpful in explaining how the two programs work together. Don't let the complexity scare you off - you earned those unemployment benefits by working and paying into the system.

Don't lose hope - your situation sounds very winnable! I was fired for tardiness due to my kids' school bus being consistently late, and I got approved for benefits after adjudication. The key things that helped my case were: 1) Documenting the transportation issues with screenshots and official alerts, 2) Showing I had tried to work with my employer on solutions (like you did when asking about schedule changes), and 3) Demonstrating that my tardiness wasn't willful misconduct but due to circumstances beyond my control. Your 2-year employment history with no other issues will definitely work in your favor. When you file, make sure to explain in detail about the bus route problems and how you requested accommodation but were denied due to company policy. Keep collecting those bus delay screenshots and service alerts - they're gold for your case. File ASAP since benefits only start from your filing date, and don't let the potential for adjudication scare you. Having solid documentation makes the process much smoother.

Thank you so much for the encouragement! It's really reassuring to hear from someone who went through such a similar situation and came out successful. The school bus comparison is actually really helpful because it shows how transportation delays can affect anyone regardless of the specific circumstances. I'm feeling much more confident about filing now after reading everyone's advice here. I've already started gathering my documentation - I have about 3 months worth of bus delay screenshots and several service alerts from the transit authority about ongoing construction on my route. The fact that I asked my manager about adjusting my schedule and was denied due to company policy seems to be a key point that multiple people have mentioned as helpful. I'm going to finish my application this weekend and make sure to be very detailed in the separation reason section about the specific transportation challenges and my attempts to address them.

You're absolutely doing the right thing by filing! I was in a nearly identical situation last year - got terminated for chronic tardiness due to unreliable public transit and was approved for benefits after providing documentation. The fact that you have 3 months of bus delay screenshots and official service alerts is fantastic evidence. What really sealed the deal for my case was showing that I had made genuine efforts to solve the problem (like you did by requesting schedule accommodation) but was limited by circumstances beyond my control. Washington ESD recognizes that not everyone has reliable transportation options, especially when employers won't work with reasonable accommodations. Make sure when you complete your application to emphasize both the documented transportation issues AND your proactive attempt to work with management on solutions. Your clean 2-year employment record prior to this will definitely support that this wasn't a pattern of careless behavior. File as soon as you can - even if it goes to adjudication, having all that documentation ready will make the process much smoother.
