If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

One more tip - if you ever don't receive your payment by Thursday, definitely contact Washington ESD because something might be wrong with your claim. Don't wait until the next week to check.

Good advice. I'll keep that Thursday deadline in mind.

0 coins

Absolutely, earlier is better when it comes to resolving payment issues.

Thanks for asking this question! I was wondering the same thing but hadn't gotten around to posting about it.

Glad it helped! The responses have been really informative.

Just want to add that even if you're not sure about eligibility, file anyway. Let Washington ESD make the determination rather than assuming you won't qualify. Worst case they say no, but you might be surprised.

This is good advice. I almost didn't file when I got fired because I thought being terminated automatically disqualified me. Turns out that's not true.

0 coins

That makes me feel better. I was worried the 'performance issues' thing would automatically disqualify me.

0 coins

DEFINITELY file today or tomorrow. Don't overthink it. The application process is pretty straightforward and walks you through everything step by step. You can always provide additional documentation later if needed.

Good luck! Hope your claim goes smoothly and you don't have to deal with a long adjudication process.

Fingers crossed! I'll update this thread if anything interesting happens with my claim.

The key thing to remember is that your benefit year and your 26 weeks are two separate limits. You can't collect more than 26 weeks of benefits, and you can't collect benefits outside your benefit year, whichever comes first.

0 coins

So if my benefit year ends before I use all 26 weeks, I lose the remaining weeks?

0 coins

Exactly. You can't carry unused weeks over to a new benefit year.

thanks everyone this thread helped me understand my situation better too

0 coins

Same here, lots of good information from everyone.

0 coins

The key is getting your initial claim filed correctly. If there are any issues or missing information, it goes into adjudication and can delay everything by weeks or months. Make sure you have all your employment history and documentation ready before you start.

0 coins

What kind of documentation should I gather before filing?

0 coins

Pay stubs, W-2s, employer contact information, dates of employment, and the reason for job separation. Having everything organized upfront saves time later.

Bottom line - with your salary range you're looking at probably $375-425 per week if everything goes smoothly. The challenge is just navigating Washington ESD's system to get there. Good luck!

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information! This gives me a much better idea of what to expect.

0 coins

Bottom line - file your initial claim ASAP, register with WorkSource, file weekly claims religiously, do your job search activities, and keep detailed records of everything. It's not that complicated once you get into the routine.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice. I feel much more confident about getting started now.

0 coins

You got this! The first few weeks are the hardest while you're learning the system, but it gets easier. Good luck with your job search too.

One last thing - if you run into issues getting through to Washington ESD by phone, that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier really does work. I was skeptical at first but it saved me so much time and frustration trying to get answers about my claim.

0 coins

I'll keep that in mind if I run into problems. Hopefully the online system will be enough for now.

0 coins

Yeah, try the online resources first, but if you need to actually talk to someone, that's definitely the way to go instead of spending days trying to get through on your own.
