How long for TWC payment to hit my ReliaCard after filing this morning?

TWC typically processes payment requests within 2-3 business days. If you filed early this morning (good move!) and there are no issues with your claim, you should see the deposit on your ReliaCard by Thursday or Friday. I filed last Tuesday morning and got mine Thursday afternoon. First time it took longer tho, like 5 days.

JUST SO YOU KNOW the TWC system is SUPER SLOW right now!! I filed last week and it took SIX DAYS to hit my ReliaCard!!! They keep saying its "normal processing time" but it NEVER took this long before. I had to call them THREE TIMES to figure out what was happening with my money!!!

The agent told me my payment was delayed because of a work search verification, but they fixed it right away. ReliaCard deposits happen by 9am usually. So if you don't see it the first morning, you'll have to wait another day. Don't be like me checking every hour lol. Also, if this is your VERY first payment ever, sometimes they'll mail you a paper check instead of using the ReliaCard, happened to me and I was confused for days waiting for a card deposit that never came. Then randomly got mail with a check.

My brother files at like 2am every other Sunday and swears it makes his payment come faster lol. Probably just coincidence but who knows with these government systems 🤷‍♀️

Just to follow up on the holiday question - yes, federal holidays will delay processing by one business day. The upcoming holiday will only affect you if your payment would normally fall on that day. Also, seeing 'payment processed' status is a great sign! That typically means the payment has been approved and is in the queue for deposit. You should definitely see it within the next 2-3 business days.
