PA UC claim showing 'Results Issue Found' after one employer denied - Will this block all benefits?
I'm totally stressed about my PA unemployment situation. I had two jobs and filed for UC benefits for both. One employer approved my claim but the other denied it. Now my claim status says 'Results Issue Found' and I'm freaking out wondering if this will stop ALL my benefits! Can I still get benefits from the approving employer? Basically what happened: I was fired from Job A (they approved my UC claim), and then I tried to give a 2-week notice at Job B, but my manager lost it and screamed at me to "get the f*** out" right then and there. They denied my claim even though they cut my notice period short! I have text messages proving what happened. Can I somehow remove the denying employer from my claim? Or do I need to refile completely? Has anyone dealt with this 'Results Issue Found' status when you have multiple employers involved? I'm seriously worried about paying rent next month if this holds up all my payments.

•3 weeks?!? I can't wait that long... did you eventually get paid for all those weeks once they resolved it?

The "Results Issue Found" status means there's a pending issue with your claim that requires review, but it doesn't automatically mean you'll be denied benefits from both employers. When you have multiple employers, PA UC evaluates each separately. You need to wait for an examiner to review your case. If they rule in your favor regarding the job where you were terminated after giving notice, you may be eligible for benefits based on both employers. If that employer's denial stands, you might still receive partial benefits based on the approving employer's wages. Keep those text messages as evidence for when they contact you for an interview about the circumstances.

•Thank you for explaining this! Do you know if I should keep filing my weekly claims while this is pending? And will I definitely get an interview or might they just decide without talking to me?

its a mess when u have 2 employers trust me... my brother had this exact thing and they froze his whole claim for like 6 weeks while they sorted it out. something about them needing to calculate the right benefit amount based on the eligible wages or whatever. such BS

•While it can take time, it's important to understand that PA UC needs to determine your financial eligibility correctly. Your brother's situation is unfortunate but not universal - processing times vary widely depending on claim complexity and current workload.

I've seen this situation many times. You should absolutely continue filing your weekly claims while waiting for resolution. This is critical because once they resolve the issue, they can only pay you for weeks you properly certified for. Regarding your specific situation: 1. You cannot remove an employer from your base year calculation - all employers during your base period must be included 2. Being terminated after giving notice often qualifies as eligible for benefits, especially if you have documentation showing you were dismissed in a hostile manner 3. Even if one employer's wages are excluded due to ineligibility, you can still receive benefits based solely on the eligible employer's wages (though possibly at a lower weekly benefit rate) 4. "Results Issue Found" typically means you'll be scheduled for a fact-finding interview or questionnaire Make sure all your contact information is up-to-date in the system so you don't miss any communications.

•This is super helpful, thank you! Do you know how they typically conduct these interviews? Will they call me or is it through the portal?

Have you tried calling the UC service center? I was in a similar situation last year (though not identical) and was going CRAZY waiting. I tried calling for days - busy signals, disconnects, the works. Finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through and it saved me SO much stress. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 The rep I talked to was able to see exactly what the issue was and told me when my interview was scheduled. Turns out they had sent me a notice through the portal that I missed completely!

•Is that service legit? Seems sketchy to pay someone just to make a phone call for you...

•It's legit - they don't make the call for you, they just get you in the call queue so you don't have to keep redialing. I was skeptical too but I was desperate after trying to call for nearly two weeks.

THE ENTIRE PA UC SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO FRUSTRATE YOU INTO GIVING UP!!!! I had multiple employers on my claim too and they made me wait EIGHT WEEKS before they finally paid me. I filed my weekly claims the whole time but was getting $0 because of the "issue." When I finally got through to someone after calling 57 TIMES IN ONE DAY, they said it was just waiting for manual review and could have been resolved weeks earlier if they weren't so understaffed. DON'T GIVE UP. Keep filing every week and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

•That's terrifying... 8 weeks is way too long. I'll definitely keep filing and documenting everything. Did you ever get an interview or did they just eventually approve it?

To answer your follow-up question: In 2025, PA UC is primarily conducting fact-finding interviews by phone. You'll receive notification through your dashboard with the date and approximate time window. They'll call the number on file in your account, so verify it's correct. For the documentation of your manager's behavior, be prepared to upload it through the portal if requested, or describe it during your interview. Be specific about dates, times, and exactly what was said. If they determine your second employer terminated you without cause after you gave proper notice, that should be ruled eligible too - which would increase your weekly benefit amount compared to just having one eligible employer.

•Thank you so much for this detailed info. I just checked and my phone number is correct in the system. I'll prepare a timeline with all the details so I'm ready for the interview.

Just a quick update for anyone following this thread or finding it later: PA UC has been taking an average of 19-25 days to resolve multi-employer claims with eligibility issues as of mid-2025. This is actually an improvement from last year. If your "Results Issue Found" status persists beyond 30 days without any communication, that's when you should escalate by contacting your state representative's office. They can often help push claims that have fallen through the cracks.

•That's really good to know. I'm at day 7 now, so I'll try to be patient, but it's good to know when I should start considering it abnormally delayed.

I went through something similar about 6 months ago! Had the same "Results Issue Found" status with multiple employers. Here's what I learned from my experience: The good news is that this status doesn't automatically disqualify you from ALL benefits. PA UC will evaluate each employer separately during their review process. Even if one employer's denial is upheld, you can still receive benefits based on wages from the employer who approved your claim (though your weekly benefit amount might be lower). In my case, I had to wait about 4 weeks for resolution, but I kept filing my weekly claims the entire time. Once they made their decision, I got backpay for all the weeks I had properly certified for. Your situation with Job B sounds like it could actually work in your favor - being told to leave immediately after giving proper notice often qualifies as involuntary termination. Those text messages are going to be crucial evidence. Stay strong and keep filing those weekly claims! The waiting is awful but most of these cases do get resolved in favor of the claimant when there's clear documentation like you have.

•This gives me so much hope, thank you! 4 weeks feels more manageable than some of the horror stories I've been reading. It's really reassuring to hear from someone who actually went through this exact situation and came out okay. I'm definitely going to keep filing every week and organize all my documentation from Job B. Did they end up ruling in your favor for both employers, or just one?

I'm dealing with almost the exact same situation right now! Filed for UC with two employers - one approved, one denied, and now I'm stuck with that dreaded "Results Issue Found" status. It's been 12 days so far and I'm losing my mind waiting. From what I've gathered reading through this thread and other forums, the key things seem to be: 1. Keep filing those weekly claims no matter what 2. Document EVERYTHING 3. Be patient (easier said than done!) Your Job B situation honestly sounds like a slam dunk case for eligibility - you gave proper notice and they cut it short in a hostile way. Those text messages are going to be your golden ticket. I'm bookmarking this thread to follow your updates. We're all in this mess together! Hoping we both get some good news soon 🤞

•Thank you for sharing your experience! It's so comforting to know someone else is going through the exact same thing right now. 12 days feels like an eternity when you're waiting for answers, but it sounds like we're both still within that normal 19-25 day window that Zara mentioned earlier. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! Have you tried calling the UC service center at all, or are you just waiting it out? I'm torn between being patient and trying to get more information about my case status.

•I tried calling a few times in the first week but just got busy signals and gave up pretty quickly. After reading about CyberNinja's experience with that Claimyr service, I'm actually considering trying it if I don't hear anything by day 20. The waiting is killing me but I'm trying to stay within that normal timeframe before I panic. At least we know we're not alone in this! Are you getting any updates in your portal at all or is it just stuck on "Results Issue Found" like mine?

I'm so sorry you're going through this stress! I went through something very similar last year with multiple employers and that "Results Issue Found" status. The waiting is absolutely brutal when you're worried about rent. From my experience, you definitely want to keep filing your weekly claims while this is pending - that's super important for getting backpay once it's resolved. The system evaluates each employer separately, so even if Job B's denial stands, you should still be able to get benefits based on Job A's wages. Your Job B situation actually sounds pretty strong for eligibility - being told to leave immediately after giving proper notice is usually considered involuntary termination. Those text messages are going to be huge in your favor during the review process. I know everyone's timeline is different, but mine took about 3 weeks to resolve and I ended up getting approved for both employers. The examiner called me for a brief interview where I explained what happened, and having documentation made all the difference. Hang in there - most of these cases do work out when you have clear evidence like you do!
