New York Unemployment: No payments since July, still claiming weekly - how long until decision?

Same here, been waiting since August. Called them twice but just get the generic 'your case is under review' response. The rent isn't gonna pay itself 🤷‍♀️

Look, heres what you need to do. First, make sure youve submitted ALL your documents correctly. Double check your W2s and pay stubs. Then try reaching them early morning around 7:55am - right before they open. Use claimyr.com if you keep striking out. Once you get through, ask for a tier 2 agent and get your case escalated. Request a supervisor review if needed. Document everything - names, dates, reference numbers. If they say your case needs additional review, ask specifically what documents theyre waiting for. Keep claiming weekly no matter what - theyll backpay you once approved. Last resort is contacting your state representative - they can sometimes speed things up. Btw the system is super backed up rn but hang in there. Took me 3 months but finally got everything sorted.
