New York Unemployment: Fraud claim resolved but can't reset PIN - Congressman helped!
Finally got some movement on my unemployment after dealing with fraud issues for 10 weeks. Couldn't get anyone on the phone to reset my PIN after fraud was cleared. Called my local congressman's office and senator - they actually helped file my claim! Just wanted to share what worked for me.

Same exact thing happened to me! Called for weeks and got nowhere. Which congressman did you contact? My account is still locked 😭

•Just google your district and call whoever represents you. They all have constituent services that can help with this stuff

Hey everyone - if you need to actually get through to unemployment, try claimyr.com. They dial and wait on hold, then call you when theres a real person. Costs $20 but saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video about how it works: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•Yeah it worked for me! Got through in like 2 hours instead of calling for weeks. Worth the $20 tbh

Going thru this rn. Been locked out for 3 months, fraud department is useless. Called over 200 times this week alone 🤮

DETAILED GUIDE FOR EVERYONE STRUGGLING: After dealing with this myself, here's what actually works: 1. Contact your local rep (congressman/senator) - they have special channels 2. Document everything - dates, call reference numbers, names 3. File a complaint with the NY AG's office 4. Use claimyr.com to get through on the phone (costs $20 but works) 5. Email your district's unemployment office directly DON'T waste time with the general number or automated system. The fraud dept is backed up like crazy rn but political pressure helps speed things up.
