NYSDOL call dropped while finishing claim - What to do next?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment claim. I was on the phone with NYSDOL and the call dropped right when I was about to finish my claim. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do next? I'm worried about having to start all over again.

Ugh, that sucks! I've been there before. The NYSDOL phone system is a nightmare. Have you tried calling back? Sometimes you can get lucky and get through to someone quickly.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE
