EDD Callback Never Came - What to Do Next?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment benefits. I filed my claim and was supposed to get a call back, but it never came through. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do next? I'm getting really frustrated with the whole process.

Ugh, welcome to the club. The unemployment system is a total mess rn. I've been waiting for weeks to hear back about my claim. It's like they're purposely making it difficult for us to get help.

Have you tried calling them directly? I know it's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get through.

Yeah, I've tried calling multiple times but always get stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

Calling is useless. I spent 3 hours on hold last week only to get disconnected. 🤬

Hey, I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. After weeks of trying to get through, I finally got to talk to someone. Worth every penny imo

Pro tip: try calling right when they open in the morning. I've had better luck getting through that way.

This whole system is broken af. We need to start bombarding our representatives with complaints. Maybe if enough of us make noise, they'll actually do something about it.

100% agree. We need to organize and make our voices heard!

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this mess for months: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and claim updates. 2. Be persistent. Keep calling and trying different times of day. 3. Reach out to your local state representative. Sometimes they can help push things along. 4. Check your spam folder regularly. Important emails sometimes end up there. 5. Join Facebook groups or forums dedicated to unemployment issues in your state. You can get good tips and support there. 6. If all else fails, consider filing an appeal or requesting a hearing. Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but don't give up!

Has anyone had luck with the online chat feature? I've been trying to use that instead of calling.
