NY unemployment ended - will child tax credit payments continue?

Those sound like the Advanced Child Tax Credit payments, which are completely separate from unemployment benefits. They're administered by the IRS, not NYSDOL. You should continue receiving them if you qualified based on your tax return, regardless of your unemployment status. You can check the status of your payments on the IRS portal.

I think what you're getting is the Advanced Child Tax Credit payments from the American Rescue Plan. If I'm correct, as long as you have eligible children and meet the income requirements, you should keep getting them whether you're on unemployment or not. The Child Tax Credit and unemployment are completely separate programs. The monthly payments you're receiving are an advance on your annual Child Tax Credit, which is based on your tax filing status and how many eligible children you have. those r advance child tax credits not unemployment. 2 diffrent things. i was on unemployment back in January but my ctc payments still came when unemployment ended. dont worry about it.

Kinda related question - my unemployment just ended yesterday and I'm worried about my health insurance too. Does anyone know if Medicaid automatically ends when unemployment does? I got approved for both around the same time so not sure if they're connected.
