I had the SAME PROBLEM!! That stupid KeyBank card is the worst. To change it, you need to go to your NY.gov account, click on unemployment services, then look for "update personal information" then "update payment method". It's super buried in the site. Make sure you have your bank info ready. And just fyi it took about 2 weeks for mine to switch over so don't panic if you still get one more payment on the card.

When it asks for SSN, enter it 3. When it asks what you're calling about, press 2 for payment options 4. Then 3 for direct deposit 5. Have your routing and account numbers ready If the automated system doesn't work, you'll need to talk to a human. Good luck with that unless you have 4 hours to wait on hold. Hot tip: if you're stuck with the KeyBank card for now, you can actually transfer the money to your bank account through their website instead of withdrawing cash. anybody else notice the KeyBank card randomly getting declined even when there's money on it? happened to me twice at the grocery store, so embarrassing. switching to direct deposit was the best decision ever.

just went through this last month! the direct deposit option on the website has been broken since august according to the rep I spoke with. your only real option is to call, but good luck getting through. took me 2 weeks of trying before I found claimyr.com which got me through to a real person. the whole system is a joke!
