Yeah it does. You pay them to wait on hold for you basically. When they get someone they call you and connect you. Took about 2 hours but beats me calling for 3 weeks straight

It's literally just a hold service. They don't need any of your claim info or anything sensitive. They just call and wait, then connect you when someone answers. Simple but worth it when you've been struggling for weeks

Not dumb at all! Go to nyassembly.gov and enter your address in the 'find my member' search box. Call their office and explain your situation. They deal with this stuff all day.

Yep! Fewer calls in the middle of the night. The trade-off is you sometimes get reps who seem half-asleep or are still in training.

I used the contact form on the NY DOL site and then got a reply from nysui@labor.ny.gov - you can reply directly to that email

Yeah after 3.5 weeks. It was resolved in literally 5 minutes once I got through to an actual person. They could see all my documents in the system - they just hadn't been reviewed yet.
