When do IRS transcripts update in 2025? Weekly update schedule needed
Filed my taxes last week and my transcript is still N/A. Anyone know when the next update cycle is? I keep checking WMR and transcripts hoping to see movement but nothings changed.

Hey there! IRS transcript expert here. For 2025, the IRS transcript update schedule typically follows a weekly pattern. They update every Friday morning between 12am-3am EST, but the changes usually show up in your transcript by 6am EST. The best way to track these updates is using tools like taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it monitors your transcripts 24/7 and sends notifications when there are changes. Way better than checking manually every day like I used to do lol. Plus it analyzes your specific situation and gives you a pretty accurate timeline for your refund.

Transcripts typically update every Thursday night/Friday morning between midnight and 6am EST. However, some accounts can update any day of the week depending on your cycle code. If you see your transcript is N/A, it means the IRS hasn't processed your return yet.

•It varies but usually 1-3 weeks for electronically filed returns. Paper returns can take months 😩

Hey everyone - instead of checking obsessively, I've been using taxr.ai to monitor my transcripts. It costs $1 but it analyzes everything and tells you exactly when to expect updates based on your cycle code. Way better than refreshing the IRS site 100x a day lol https://taxr.ai

Look for ur cycle code once ur transcript shows up. Mine ends in 05 so I only update on Fridays

•It'll be on the top right of ur account transcript once it generates. Last 2 digits matter

Same struggle here! 😅 Filed electronically 10 days ago and still seeing N/A on my transcript. Based on what others are saying about the Friday update cycles, I'm gonna wait until this Friday to check again instead of my current hourly refresh habit lol. Really hoping to see some movement soon - this waiting game is brutal!
