SBTPG Login Error - "No Information Found" Message
Anyone else having SBTPG issues? Getting error messages constantly. Says "no information found" when I try to log in. Very frustrating. Trying to track my refund. Need to check my status. Any solutions? 🥴

I've been experiencing exactly the same issue for exactly 3 days now. SBTPG systems are likely overwhelmed with the high volume of traffic as we're exactly 12 weeks into the 2024 tax season. Their servers typically struggle during peak periods when many taxpayers are simultaneously trying to check their refund status. I would recommend waiting approximately 24 hours before attempting to log in again, preferably during off-peak hours such as early morning (before 7:00 AM) or late evening (after 10:00 PM) when server load is typically reduced by 40-60%.

Have you tried contacting their customer service directly? I'm wondering if they've acknowledged the system issues or provided any timeline for when it might be fixed?

I'm not entirely sure, but... could this possibly be related to the system maintenance they sometimes do? I think I recall seeing something about scheduled downtime on their website, though I'm not certain about the exact dates.

OMG same probs here! Been trying 2 log in since ystrdy AM. SBTPG always does this during tax szn. Last yr had same issue for like 5 days straight. Try using incognito mode or diff browser. Chrome worked for me when Firefox kept failing. Also cleared cache/cookies and that helped. Def frustrating when ur waiting on $$$ tho!

I really appreciate this tip! I had a similar experience last year when trying to access my refund information. I remember spending hours trying different browsers before finally getting through. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who's dealt with this.

Thanks. Cleared cache. Fixed it immediately. Their system can't handle peak volume. Happens every April.

I had the EXACT same problem and it was driving me crazy! Here's what I did to finally get answers: Step 1: I tried calling SBTPG directly but kept getting disconnected after 45+ minutes on hold. Step 2: Used Claimyr.com to reach an IRS agent instead (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c) to confirm my refund status. Step 3: The IRS agent confirmed my refund was already sent to SBTPG three days ago. Step 4: Armed with this info, I tried SBTPG again and suddenly my info appeared! So relieved to finally know what was happening instead of staring at error messages all day. Sometimes you need to approach from a different angle!

I'm TIRED of these constant SBTPG issues EVERY SINGLE TAX SEASON! 😡 Instead of relying on their glitchy portal, I've started tracking through the IRS Where's My Refund tool and IRS2Go app directly. At least those systems actually WORK most of the time! If your refund has been approved, the WMR tool will tell you when it's been sent to your bank. Don't let SBTPG's terrible website keep you in the dark about YOUR money!

This happens with SBTPG every tax season, just like how TurboTax's servers crash on April 14th. Their system is handling millions of requests right now, which is about 5x their normal capacity. Compare it to concert tickets going on sale - everyone hitting refresh at once. I've tracked this pattern for 3 years now. The error typically resolves itself within 72 hours as volume decreases. Nothing to worry about unless you're still having issues after a week.

Wow, I had no idea this was such a common occurrence! As a first-time filer utilizing the SBTPG portal, I was genuinely concerned that something was wrong with my specific refund. Your systematic analysis of the traffic patterns really helps contextualize what's happening!

I'm concerned about what this means for security protocols. If their systems are this overwhelmed by predictable seasonal volume, what does that suggest about their infrastructure investment? I wonder if there are any regulatory requirements for financial institutions to maintain certain uptime percentages.

Haha, love the concert ticket analogy! 🎟️ Never thought I'd be competing with half of America to check on my own money. Tax season is wild! Way more complicated than I expected when I first started filing my own taxes.

I saved myself $39.95 in bank fees last year when I had this exact same problem! My refund was stuck in SBTPG limbo for days with the same error message. When I finally got through, I discovered they were holding my money for "additional verification" but never notified me! I called their customer service line (1-800-901-6663) and stayed on hold for 57 minutes, but it was worth it - got my money released that same day. Don't just wait for the website to start working again!

It's like being stuck in traffic when you can see your destination right in front of you! The most frustrating part is that these processors are essentially sitting on billions of dollars of taxpayer money during these "technical difficulties." Glad you were persistent and got your money released - sometimes the phone is still the most effective tool we have.

Be extremely cautious when encountering these errors. According to IRS Publication 1345 (Handbook for Authorized e-File Providers), SBTPG is required to provide timely access to refund status information. However, Section 7.3 of their Terms of Service indicates that temporary service disruptions may occur. If the error persists beyond 72 hours, document all attempts to access your account with screenshots and timestamps. This documentation may be necessary if you need to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under Regulation E for delayed access to funds.

Just wanted to share a success story! After getting the same error for 3 days straight, I tried accessing SBTPG at exactly 4:30am this morning and got right in! The website shows much less traffic during early morning hours. According to https://downdetector.com/status/sbtpg/ the site has been having issues since Monday with peak outages between 9am-6pm. My refund was there waiting the whole time! Try again during off-hours and you'll likely have better luck.

That's really helpful! Did you notice if the funds were already in your bank account even while the SBTPG site was showing errors? I'm wondering if the actual processing is still happening behind the scenes despite the website issues.

I'm a bit hesitant to try this early morning approach... do you think there's any chance that accessing during those hours might somehow cause additional delays? I know it's probably not logical, but I'm just trying to be careful with my refund processing.
