PATH Act delays - No 05 cycle refund dates until Feb 21st due to weekend holiday
Can we please stop asking about 05 cycle codes? No dates will show up until February 21st because of the PATH act and the weekend holiday. This happens literally every single year - first update for PATH won't happen until the next business day after the 15th.

Tax professional here - PATH Act restrictions prevent the IRS from releasing EITC/ACTC refunds before February 15th. Since the 15th falls on a weekend this year, the first batch of updates will process on Tuesday the 21st (Monday is Presidents Day). This is standard procedure every year for cycle code 05 filers.
