Are all PATH Act returns on weekly cycle code 05? Need clarification on 2023 return
I keep hearing different things about cycle codes for PATH Act returns. Some say everyone on PATH gets cycle 05, others say it can be different. Anyone know for sure? My transcript shows a different cycle code and now im worried something is wrong.

No, not everyone on PATH has cycle code 05. While many PATH Act returns do process on weekly cycles (05), some can process on daily cycles. The cycle code itself doesn't indicate whether there's an issue with your return. What matters more is your processing date and any specific codes on your transcript.
