PATH Act: Why did my sister's 05 cycle update but mine is still delayed?
Really confused about these 05 cycle codes. My transcript is stuck on 05 cycle but my sister (who also has 05) just got her PATH update today. Starting to think theres more to this than just the cycle numbers. Anyone else seeing different results with 05 cycles?

Tax specialist here - the 05 cycle code isn't the only factor determining your PATH Act release. The IRS processes returns in batches based on multiple criteria including claim types, verification needs, and processing center workload. Two people with 05 cycles can have very different timeframes based on these factors.
