IRS Cycle Code Changed from 05 to 02 - What Does This Mean for My Refund?

I've been checking my transcripts and noticed something different. My cycle code has always been 05 for years but when I checked today its showing as 02. Does this mean anything for my refund? Anyone else had their cycle code change?

The cycle code (last 2 digits) indicates which processing cycle your return is assigned to. 05 means Friday updates, while 02 means Tuesday updates. This change usually happens when there's been some sort of adjustment or review of your return. Keep checking your transcript on Tuesdays now instead of Fridays for updates.
