PATH Act & Chime Direct Deposit - When will refund hit?

Filed my taxes and got accepted. I'm on PATH and have Chime for direct deposit. Anyone have experience with when deposits usually hit? Getting anxious checking my account every 5 minutes fr.

If you're affected by PATH Act, the IRS can't issue your refund before mid-February by law. Even with early deposit banks like Chime, you'll need to wait until the IRS releases the funds. Most PATH Act returns start processing after Feb 15th, with deposits typically hitting 1-2 weeks after that.

hey just wanted to share something that helped me - I used taxr.ai to analyze my transcript and it gave me the exact date my refund would hit my Chime. Its only $1 and totally worth it vs checking WMR 500 times a day lol. https://taxr.ai

just tried it and wow yeah this is actually legit. Got more info in 5 mins than 3 hours of googling 🙌

The whole PATH act is str8 🤡 stuff. Why they gotta hold our money hostage like this

Facts! They quick to take it but slow to give it back smh

Pro tip: stop checking WMR its usually behind. Check your transcript instead its more accurate

how do u even read those transcripts tho? its like trying to read hieroglyphics 😭

@Chloe Martin honestly same! those codes and numbers make no sense to me. That taxr.ai thing @Sean O Donnell'mentioned might be worth checking out if it actually explains what all that transcript stuff means

Real talk the transcript codes are confusing af but once you learn the basic ones it's actually way better than WMR. Look for code 846 - that's your refund date. Code 570 means hold, 971 notice issued. Still a pain to decode but beats waiting for WMR to maybe update 🤷‍♀️
