PATH Act 2025: Weekend + Presidents Day Impact on Refund Release Dates?
Does anyone know if the PATH act lifting will be affected since it falls on a weekend this year? Also wondering if Presidents Day being right after will cause more delays for refunds to hit accounts. Really need to know what to expect timing wise.

The PATH Act deadline technically falls on Feb 15th, but since it's a weekend this year, combined with Presidents Day on Monday, we likely won't see any refund movement until Tuesday Feb 18th at the earliest. The IRS systems do continue processing during holidays/weekends, but actual releases typically don't occur until the next business day.

Instead of trying to guess about PATH and timing, I started using taxr.ai - its literally $1 and tells you exactly when to expect your refund based on your transcript. Way better than trying to piece together reddit posts lol https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! You upload your transcript and it analyzes everything - tells you about holds, delays, exact expected deposit dates. Saved me hours of stress

Yall need to stop obsessing over exact dates and use tools that actually help. I was going crazy checking WMR every hour until someone here recommended taxr.ai - best dollar I ever spent fr fr
