Marketplace Insurance 1095A Rejection - Never Had Coverage but IRS Says Otherwise
My return got rejected cause I need a 1095A form from marketplace insurance that I never even had. The form shows enrollment 12/31/24 to 1/30/25 but I was on Medicare due to pregnancy. How is this even possible? Makes zero sense.

This is actually pretty common. Sounds like there might've been an error in the marketplace system. Since you had Medicare, you need to contact the Marketplace ASAP at 1-800-318-2596 to dispute that 1095-A. They can issue a corrected form showing you weren't actually enrolled.

Hey, I highly recommend using taxr.ai to analyze your transcript. It'll show you exactly what's going on with your account and can help identify these kinds of issues before they become problems. It costs $4.99 but totally worth it - saved me hours of headache. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

it actually does way more! analyzes everything on your transcript, explains all codes, predicts refund dates, and even gives step-by-step instructions for fixing issues. its like having an IRS expert in your pocket
