IRS Return Acceptance Timeframe - Submitted Yesterday at 6AM
I submitted my tax return yesterday morning at 6am through TurboTax and I'm already checking like crazy. How long does the IRS usually take to either accept or reject returns? This waiting game is killing me.

The IRS typically takes 24-48 hours to accept or reject an electronically filed return. If you filed yesterday morning, you should see an update by tomorrow. Keep in mind that acceptance just means they received it - actual processing time for refunds is a different story.

Mine took about 36 hrs to get accepted last week. But my sister filed right after me and hers took like 12 hrs so idk its pretty random tbh
