IRS Return Acceptance Timeframe - Submitted Yesterday Morning
Filed my return yesterday morning at 6am through TurboTax and still waiting to see if its accepted or rejected. Anyone know the typical timeline for this? Getting anxious since I'm expecting a decent refund this year.

The IRS typically takes 24-48 hours to accept or reject an electronically filed return. If you filed through an authorized e-file provider like TurboTax, you should receive an email notification when the IRS makes their decision. Don't worry too much about the waiting time - this is completely normal.

Hey, tax professional here! Instead of refreshing your screen every 5 mins (we've all been there lol), I highly recommend checking out taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening with your return. Only costs a buck and saves tons of anxiety. https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It uses AI to read your transcript and breaks everything down in plain English

Pro tip: create an account on the IRS website to track your return status. Way better than just waiting for emails
