IRS Reps giving zero info - just told to wait after 4 calls
Called the IRS 4 different times and getting nowhere. Each rep just says wait and won't give any actual updates about my refund or answer questions about the holiday delays. Anyone else getting stonewalled like this?

Unfortunately, most IRS agents are restricted in what information they can provide. They're working from scripts and unless there's a specific error code or notice, they typically can only verify receipt and tell you to wait. Your best bet is to check your transcript for any codes or updates.

Tip: Don't waste time calling tbh. Focus on checking your transcript weekly for updates. That's where the real info is at.
