Got my state tax direct deposit date of 2/18 but nothing in my account yet. Anyone else waiting on their state refund with the same date? Starting to get worried since its been a few days already.

What's happening with IRS refunds tomorrow January 17th 2025?
Keep hearing about January 17th being some big day for IRS refunds but nobody is explaining why. Can someone break down what's actually supposed to happen tomorrow? Is this just another false hope or should I actually be excited?

Called IRS this morning and they confirmed its just the start of 2024 filing season. The agent actually laughed when I asked about old refunds dropping tomorrow

WMR Update Timeline After Phone Verification - How Long to See Changes?
Just verified my identity over the phone with the IRS yesterday. Anyone know how long it typically takes to see an update on Where's My Refund after verification? Getting anxious since I filed back in February and really need this money.

IRS Reps giving zero info - just told to wait after 4 calls
Called the IRS 4 different times and getting nowhere. Each rep just says wait and won't give any actual updates about my refund or answer questions about the holiday delays. Anyone else getting stonewalled like this?

Tip: Don't waste time calling tbh. Focus on checking your transcript weekly for updates. That's where the real info is at.
where do u even find the transcript tho?
irs.gov - make an account and look for 'Get Transcript' button
Filed 2/5 - Anyone else still waiting? Cycle code gang where you at?
Filed on 2/5 with direct deposit and still nothing. Getting really worried now. Transcript shows processing but no DDD. Anyone else file around the same time? What's your status looking like?

Check your bank account again tmrw morning. Mine usually hits around 3am on the 3rd day after DDD

Called the state tax office and they said there experiencing delays rn due to high volume. might take up to a week after DDD 🙄
