How to check IRS tax refund offset status online without calling TOP hotline?
Anyone know how to check if there's an offset on my refund online? I know theres the treasury offset phone number but tbh I hate calling and sitting on hold forever. There has to be a better way right?

You can actually check directly on the Treasury Offset Program website fiscal.treasury.gov/TOP/. You'll need your SSN and it shows any federal or state debts that might affect your refund. The phone system is basically showing the same info.
