Has anyone ever had disappear off their transcripts? Last update I had a code 424, 810 and 811. Then this week it went 810,811 971 and a 420 however now there is NO 424 code anywhere on the transcript

Yes, this is actually pretty common with the transcripts, especially during heavy processing periods. Code 424 is an Examination Indicator that sometimes disappears when they've completed that part of the review. The fact that you now see 971 (notice issued) and 420 (examination of tax return) suggests your return is moving through their review process. To really understand what's happening with these code changes and get a clear timeline for your refund, I'd recommend using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai). It's this new AI tool that analyzes all your transcript and gives you a super detailed breakdown of what's actually happening with your return and when you can expect your refund.

100% legit. It basically reads all your tax docs and gives you the exact timeline and what you need to do next. Way better than guessing what these mean

424 is your return to see if they want to audit, unfortunately the 420 code is an audit. So the 424 code was replaced with the 420 code.
