810/811 Hold codes disappeared from transcript - What does this mean?
I've been checking my transcript regularly and had 2 freeze codes (810) and one unfreeze code (811) showing up. Today I checked and all the codes are completely gone from my account transcript. Does anyone know what this means? Getting worried since I'm still waiting on my refund.

Tax specialist here. When 810/811 codes disappear, it usually indicates that the freeze has been resolved. The 810 is a freeze code and 811 releases that freeze. Multiple 810s suggest there were multiple review points. The disappearance typically means your return is moving forward in processing. Check your account transcript again in 2-3 days for new updates.

•Usually takes 1-2 cycles (about 7-14 days) to see deposit info after codes clear. But every case is different!

Hey guys, I was in the same boat last month. Instead of going crazy checking transcripts manually, I started using taxr.ai. It's only $1 and the AI analyzes everything and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Saved my sanity fr fr https://taxr.ai

•100% legit! It basically reads all the codes and gives you a timeline. Even caught stuff I missed. Best dollar I ever spent lol

Same thing happened to me! Had 810 codes for weeks and they just vanished yesterday. Called the IRS this morning and they said it's actually a good sign - means the review is complete and the return is being processed. They told me to expect movement within 1-2 weeks. The waiting game is so stressful but hang in there! 🤞

•Thanks for sharing! That's super helpful to know what the IRS actually said when you called. I've been too nervous to call them myself but knowing they said it's a good sign makes me feel way better. Did they give you any specific timeline or just the general 1-2 weeks? Really hoping mine follows the same pattern! 🙏

This is such great news! I've been in the same situation with 810 codes just sitting there for what felt like forever. It's so reassuring to hear from multiple people that when they disappear, it usually means good things are happening. The IRS system is so confusing - I wish they would just send us a simple update like "hey, we're reviewing your return" instead of making us decode these cryptic numbers. But hearing that people are getting their refunds within 1-2 weeks after the codes clear gives me hope! Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences 🙌

•Totally agree! The IRS really needs to work on their communication. Like why can't they just have a simple status that says "under review" or "processing complete" instead of making us all become amateur code analysts? 😅 It's wild that we have to rely on each other in forums like this to figure out what's happening with our own money. But honestly this community has been a lifesaver - way more helpful than any official IRS resource I've found!

OP, this is actually really encouraging news! I went through the exact same thing last month - had multiple 810 codes that just vanished overnight. I was panicking thinking something went wrong, but it turned out to be the opposite. Got my refund about 10 days later. The disappearing codes basically means the IRS finished whatever review they were doing and cleared your return to move forward. I know the waiting is torture (I was refreshing my transcript like every hour lol) but try to stay patient. You should see some positive movement soon! 🤞

•This is so reassuring to hear! I'm new to all this tax transcript stuff and honestly had no idea what any of these codes meant. Seeing everyone's experiences with the 810 codes disappearing and then getting refunds gives me so much hope. It's crazy how we all have to become detectives just to understand what's happening with our own returns! Thanks for sharing your timeline - 10 days sounds amazing right now 😊
