Got verbal DDD 4/10 from IRS rep but transcript still shows 570 freeze code - can I trust this?
Filed on Jan 23, got the delayed processing message. Had to verify identity in Feb after getting a letter, did it same day by phone. Transcript updated to code 570 and stayed that way for 2 weeks. Called IRS Friday since no update, rep said I have a direct deposit date for 4/10 but neither transcript or WMR updated. Should I trust what the rep said?

Based on my experience with IRS phone reps, they can sometimes see updates before they appear on transcripts. The 570 freeze code usually resolves within 2-4 weeks after identity verification. If the rep gave you a specific DDD, its likely accurate since they have direct access to your account info. Just keep monitoring your transcripts daily for the 846 refund issued code.

Its pretty common for reps to see updates before they hit transcripts. Their internal system updates first, then WMR and transcripts follow a few days later. I'd say your lookign good for 4/10!
