Filed 1/29 - No Estimated Date for EIC/CTC Refund with TurboTax & Chime
Filed my taxes on January 29th already got my state refund but federal is still processing. I know about the EIC and CTC hold but why don't I even get an estimated deposit date? Been using TurboTax and Chime for direct deposit every year and its always like this.

The PATH Act prevents the IRS from releasing EIC/CTC refunds before mid-February. Your WMR tool won't show a date until after the IRS completes their verification process. Even with early filing, expect updates around February 15th. Chime usually deposits 2-5 days after the IRS releases funds.

•Most banks are about the same. Chime is actually one of the faster ones since they release funds as soon as they get the IRS notification.
