EITC/CTC 2024 Return Already Processed - Early Test Batch?
Filed early with EITC and CTC credits, accepted Jan 21st and showing processed on transcripts already. Got a Feb 17th processing date which seems super early. Anyone else in this boat? Trying to figure out if ill actually get the refund mid-Feb or if this is just system processing. seen stuff about cycle codes but dont really understand how that works

Your return is indeed part of the early processing batch. The PATH Act prevents any EITC/CTC refunds from being released before Feb 15th, but the IRS does process some returns early to test their systems. The Feb 17th date is likely accurate for your refund deposit. Your cycle code can confirm the exact weekly processing schedule.
