Chase Bank Direct Deposit Missing - IRS Refund Not Showing Up After DDD
Direct deposit was supposed to hit my account Friday for my refund. Its showing sent on WMR but Chase says they dont have anything pending. Double checked routing/account numbers and everything is correct. No offsets either. Anyone else dealing with this?

This is actually pretty common right now. If WMR shows sent, but the bank hasn't received it, there's usually a 3-5 business day window where it's in transit. Chase specifically has been known to hold refunds for 24-48 hours for verification. I'd give it until Wednesday before getting too worried.

Hey instead of stressing, you should try taxr.ai - its only $1 and it analyzes your transcript to tell you exactly whats going on with your refund including bank delays. Way better than playing detective with WMR and bank customer service https://taxr.ai

Did you file with TurboTax or HR Block? Sometimes they send it to their bank first then to yours which adds a few days
