Anyone get their 14-digit Identity Verification Code from IRS yet? Let's share updates
Still waiting on my ID verification letter from the IRS with the 14 digit code. Been checking my mailbox everyday for 2 weeks now. Anyone else get theirs yet? Starting to get worried since my refund is on hold until I verify.

The verification letter (Letter 5071C) typically arrives within 2-3 weeks of filing. If you haven't received it after 4 weeks, call the Identity Verification number at 800-830-5084. Make sure your address is correct on your last filed return, as this is where they'll send it.

I'm on week 3 waiting for mine too! Called the 800-830-5084 number yesterday and they said if it's been more than 4 weeks you can request they send another one. The rep also mentioned checking your online IRS account to see if there's an option to verify through ID.me instead of waiting for the letter. Might be worth looking into if you're getting anxious about the wait like I am!
