Accepted Feb 13th - Anyone Get Their DDD Yet? Transcript Check

Just checking with the group. Anyone who had their return accepted on February 13th able to see a direct deposit date (DDD) on their transcripts yet? I'm tracking this closely to make sure I'm not missing anything in the process. Let me know what you're seeing on your end.

Hey there! Based on IRS processing patterns, most Feb 13th filers should be seeing updates now or v soon. Typical cycle for non-complex returns is 21 days max. Check transcript for TC 846 code w/ the DDD. WMR updates usually lag behind transcript by 1-2 days. If you've got PATH Act credits (EITC/ACTC), that adds time. What's your cycle code on transcript? That'll tell us your update pattern.

I'm seeing code 570 on my transcript but no 846 yet. Does that indicate a specific hold on my return? My acceptance date was February 14th, so just one day after OP.

Thank you for explaining the cycle codes! I've been trying to understand what TC 846 means. My return was accepted February 12th and I'm still waiting for any updates on my transcript.

Need to know ASAP - if my cycle code ends in 05, does that mean I'll only see updates on Thursdays or Fridays? Need to plan for some bills coming due next week.

What about manual review? Got accepted same day. No updates. Transcript still N/A. Called IRS. They said "in process." Normal?

I filed on February 14th and was getting super frustrated trying to reach someone at the IRS to check my status. Called for three days straight on February 27th, 28th, and March 1st with no luck getting through. Finally used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) and got connected to an agent in about 15 minutes. They confirmed my return was in the final processing stage and I should see my DDD by next week. Saved me so much time and stress!

I was accepted on February 13th as well and just got my DDD this morning showing March 20th. Last year I was accepted on February 15th and got my DDD on March 23rd, so it's following almost the exact same pattern. One thing I've learned from tracking this for years is that the processing time is pretty consistent if you don't have any special credits or complications. The transcript usually updates overnight between Wednesday and Thursday for my cycle code.

Did you have any codes before getting your 846? I'm seeing a 570 and 971 sequence but not sure if that means there's a problem or if it's just part of normal processing.

I think I might be on the same cycle as you. My transcript seems to update Wednesday nights/Thursday mornings too. Did you notice if your WMR updated at the same time as your transcript or was there a delay?

This matches my experience exactly. For the past three years, I've filed mid-February and received my refund in the third week of March. I've even started planning my spring expenses around this timeline since it's so predictable. Last year I got antsy and called the IRS, but the agent just told me everything was fine and to be patient. Sure enough, my DDD appeared right on schedule.

I was in the same boat last week - accepted Feb 13th with no transcript updates. It was like watching water boil! I finally tried https://taxr.ai to analyze my transcript once it appeared. The tool explained that my 570 code was just a temporary hold while they processed my education credits, not an actual problem. It was like having an IRS decoder ring that translated all the cryptic codes and gave me a predicted deposit date that turned out to be spot on. Much better than guessing what all those codes meant!

Are you checking both your account transcript and return transcript? Sometimes one will update before the other. Also, have you noticed any pending deposits in your bank account that might not be reflected on WMR yet? I've seen cases where the bank shows it before the IRS tools do (a good problem to have, haha).

I filed and was accepted on February 13th too! Got my DDD this morning for March 21st. $4,328 refund coming my way! SO EXCITED!!! I've been checking my transcript daily (okay, maybe 3-4 times daily 😅) and it finally updated overnight. The money is already showing as pending in my credit union account even though the official date is still a week away. My credit union always releases funds early once they get the notification from the IRS.

According to the IRS2Go app and r/IRS megathreads, most February 13th filers are seeing DDDs between March 15-22 depending on their cycle code. The IRS is actually running slightly ahead of schedule compared to last year based on the data I've been tracking. If you check https://www.irs.gov/refunds and still don't see updates by March 15th, you might want to pull your full transcript to check for any TC 570/971 combo which could indicate verification needed. The IRS processing systems typically batch updates based on cycle codes rather than acceptance dates.

While that data is generally accurate, the IRS Operational Guidelines (IRM 21.4.1) actually state that processing times can vary significantly based on verification needs, even within the same cycle code group. I've seen cases where returns filed on the same day had DDDs two weeks apart despite no obvious issues.

It might be worth checking if you have any credits on your return that would put you under PATH Act restrictions. If you claimed Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS is legally not allowed to issue your refund before mid-February, which could potentially delay your processing timeline a bit compared to others who filed on the same day but didn't claim those credits.
