IRS Transcript Shows Feb 10th Processing Date - Will My $9,820 Refund (EIC + Withholding) Actually Arrive That Day?

Just checked my transcript and saw a DD date of Feb 10th. Been waiting since January 15th when I filed. After checking WMR and transcript daily, finally see movement. Looking at my transcript, I can see: RETURN DUE DATE OR RETURN RECEIVED DATE (WHICHEVER IS LATER) Apr. 15, 2025 PROCESSING DATE Feb. 10, 2025 TRANSACTIONS CODE EXPLANATION OF TRANSACTION | CYCLE | DATE | AMOUNT 150 Tax return filed | 20250405 | 02-10-2025 | $0.00 16221-417-46014-5 806 W-2 or 1099 withholding | | 04-16-2025 | -$1,718.00 768 Earned income credit | | 04-17-2025 | -$8,102.00 This Product Contains Sensitive Taxpayer Data So I'm getting back my withholding of $1,718 plus the earned income credit of $8,102, which adds up to $9,820. The processing date shows Feb 10th, 2025, and that's the date I'm seeing as my direct deposit date. Anyone know if this date is set in stone? Never had a DDD before and don't want to get my hopes up. Is the "150 Tax return filed" with the 02-10-2025 date definitely my deposit date? I've been checking WMR and transcript daily since January 15th, and this is the first movement I've seen.

Tax specialist here! A Direct Deposit Date (DDD) of Feb 10th is pretty solid. The IRS usually deposits funds 1-2 days before the official DDD, so you might see it hit your account as early as Feb 8th. However, your bank's processing time can affect when you actually see the money - some banks release funds immediately while others may hold them for 24 hours.
