been on a payment plan for 2 years now and yup they take every refund. its automated in their system cant stop it
Anybody know if this applies to state refunds too or just federal?
depends on ur state but most have agreements w the irs to offset state refunds for federal debt
ugh thx for letting me know. guess im in the same boat as OP š£āāļø
Quick tip: double check that you meet the relationship test for any kids your claiming. Thats what got me rejected last time š¤¦āāļø
They gotta be ur kid, stepkid, foster kid, sibling, or a descendant of any of these (like grandkid). And you need proof!
Jackson Hewitt let me check eligibility first but their advances are super small compared to others tbh
only like $500-1000 depending on ur refund size
Been there done that its a pain. Most places want the full return done first cause they base the loan amount on your expected refund. Kinda makes sense but still annoying af
fr its like a catch 22 situation š¤
make sure you claim head of household if ur eligible, its a huge difference vs single filing status
