If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

This happened to me in February. Got the "error status" message, then waited 3 weeks for a letter that never came. I tried calling back but couldn't get through for days. Finally used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to get past the hold times and spoke to an agent who explained exactly what was wrong - turned out to be a simple verification issue with my W-2. Got my refund a week later after they fixed it. Definitely worth the call if you don't want to wait until April 23rd.

Omg thank you! I might try this because waiting another 2+ weeks is killing me. Did they charge you for the service?

There is a fee, but it was worth every penny to me since I was able to get through in about 15 minutes instead of spending hours redialing. The agent I reached was super helpful and actually fixed my issue while I was on the phone.

Error" status usually means one of these things: 1. Math error'they re fixing 2. Missing information 3. Income verification issue 4. Identity verification needed 5. Credit eligibility check In most cases they fix it themselves. The April 23 date is likely when their system is scheduled to complete the review. If they need anything from you, the letter will sayso.

PLEASE be careful about counting on a specific date! I'm literally crying right now because I was PROMISED my refund by March 15th and planned my rent payment around it! The IRS website said 21 days, my tax preparer said 21 days, but here I am on day 36 with NOTHING! Now I'm facing late fees and possibly eviction because I trusted their timeline! Don't make financial commitments based on expected refund dates!!!

Has anyone tried using the IRS2Go app instead of the website? I've found it sometimes updates faster than the website, though why would the same agency have different information on different platforms? Also, have you checked if you have any past-due federal debts that might cause an offset? Student loans, child support, state taxes from previous years? Those can silently delay your refund without any notification until after the fact.

I've been tracking this issue across several forums (taxact.com/community and r/tax) and it appears TPG is experiencing system-wide delays in status updates. According to downdetector.com, there's been a 37% increase in TPG-related issues in the past 48 hours. When I faced a similar situation last month and couldn't get answers online, I used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to reach an actual IRS agent who confirmed my refund was already sent despite TPG showing unfunded. The agent explained that third-party processors add an extra layer that the IRS has no visibility into once they release the funds. Saved me days of stress wondering if my refund was lost somewhere!

Just to clarify a few things about how this process works: Step 1: IRS approves your return and assigns a Direct Deposit Date (your 2/23) Step 2: IRS sends funds to TPG (not directly to your bank) Step 3: TPG deducts any fees you authorized (TurboTax fees in your case) Step 4: TPG forwards remaining amount to your bank Step 5: Your bank processes the deposit (can take 1-2 business days) The confusion happens because TPG's status updates don't always reflect real-time processing. Their system often batches updates, so you might see "unfunded" even after they've received and processed your refund. I completely understand the frustration - it's like tracking a package that shows "in transit" even after it's been delivered to your doorstep.

Be careful about getting too excited when transcripts update. Last year my transcript updated with codes 570 and 971 which looked like progress, but it actually meant my return was selected for review. Ended up waiting 4 months for my refund while WMR never changed from the first bar. Not trying to be negative, just saying transcript updates aren't always good news. Check specifically for code 846 - that's the only one that really matters.

When exactly did you see the 570/971 combo last year? I'm wondering if there's a specific timeframe when they do most of their reviews. I filed on February 15th this year and just got those exact codes on March 21st. Did your 971 notice actually arrive in the mail or did they just resolve it without sending anything?

Were you able to identify what triggered the review in your case? I'm analyzing patterns across several tax situations, and it appears that certain deductions or credits tend to flag returns more frequently. The IRS uses the Discriminant Function System (DIF) to score returns based on potential compliance issues, and understanding these triggers can help taxpayers prepare for possible delays.

Some important facts about WMR vs. Transcripts: • WMR updates only once every 24 hours (usually overnight) • Transcripts can update multiple times throughout the day • WMR pulls from a secondary database that lags behind the main system • Transcript codes are the actual processing steps your return goes through • WMR is designed for simplicity, not accuracy • The "one bar" status can persist even after your refund is approved I'm skeptical of anyone claiming there's a perfect pattern to these updates. The IRS systems are antiquated and running on COBOL programming from the 1960s in many cases. Expect inconsistencies.

Omg I'm in the EXACT same boat! šŸ™ƒ Filed my first 1099 return last week and the waiting is killing me. My friend filed her W-2 only return the same day and already got approved. I made the mistake of checking some tax forums and now I'm freaking out about audits and delays. Haha... *nervous laughter* Hope we both get updates soon! Anyone else constantly refreshing their email like a crazy person or just me?

Just to clarify smthg important: there's a diff between "transmitted," "accepted," and "approved" status. TT shows "transmitted" when they've sent it to IRS. "Accepted" means IRS rec'd it & basic info checks out (SSN, name, etc). "Approved" means IRS finished processing & determined refund amt. For 1099 contractors, the system often takes 3-5 days just to show "accepted" status, then another 5-10 days for "approved." Checking ur transcript (acct transcript specifically) will show code 150 when fully processed.
