846 Code Finally Shows up After 8 Months - When Will I Get My Money?
Just checked my transcript and the 846 code finally showed up. Been waiting since February and its been a nightmare dealing with TAS and calling the IRS non stop. Anyone know how long after seeing the 846 code it takes to actually get the refund in my account?

The 846 code means your refund has been approved and scheduled for release. Generally, you'll receive your refund within 5-7 business days if you chose direct deposit. If you opted for a paper check, it could take 2-3 weeks to arrive in the mail.

Protip: check your bank account around 5am on the scheduled deposit date. That's when mine hit.
