New DEO monetary determination after adjudication - What does it mean?
I just got another monetary determination dated for tomorrow, but I don't understand why. I had an adjudication recently, and I was told some issues would be cleared after I claimed last week. I've been put on hold since the first week, and there was a misunderstanding about my availability to work. I've spoken to three different people and even got the state Senate involved, but still no clear answer. Now I'm eligible for redetermination starting tomorrow for the maximum benefit. Does this new determination actually change anything? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm so confused about what's going on with my claim.

Ugh, the unemployment system is such a mess rn. I've been dealing with similar issues for months. It's like they're purposely making it confusing 🤔 Have you tried calling them again? Sometimes you get lucky and find someone who actually knows what's going on.

•I've called so many times, it's exhausting. Each time I get a different answer. I'm starting to feel like I'm going crazy 😵💫

•Same boat here. It's like playing unemployment roulette every time you call. Keep pushing though, eventually you'll get someone helpful!

The new monetary determination could mean a few things: 1. They've recalculated your benefits based on new information 2. There's been an update to your claim status after adjudication 3. It might be a system glitch (wouldn't be surprised) Unfortunately, without speaking directly to a knowledgeable rep, it's hard to say for sure. Keep all your paperwork and continue following up. Don't assume anything's resolved until you get clear confirmation.

•Thanks for breaking it down. I guess I'll have to keep pestering them for answers. It's just so frustrating not knowing what's going on with my own claim 😤

•This is solid advice. Documentation is key when dealing with unemployment. I learned that the hard way 😅

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/AsdxiF0IH1k

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks to skip the hold time? Might be worth it if it actually works 🤔

The state Senate got involved and you still don't have answers? That's wild. Our system is so broken, it's not even funny anymore. Hang in there, OP. 💪

•Tell me about it. I thought getting them involved would speed things up, but nope. Still stuck in limbo 🙃

Pro tip: Next time you call, ask to speak with a tier 2 representative. They usually have more authority to make changes and give you real answers. Don't let them brush you off!

•This! 👆 Tier 2 reps are the real MVPs. They've saved my butt more than once.
