So- they stopped paying me because they said I didn’t report funds from some months. How do I this? Or how do I proceed? I still need help and do not have any work/income. And the weird thing is they still keep emailing me to every two weeks and then I like regular but the money just never goes into my and every time I have gotten through they say I need to speak to a and I never able to get through stop it

I found a way to solve EDD payment stoppage issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmVv-S3rKvI

Please listen and believe this forwarding call service works! I was skeptical at first before I use and one day I was so exhausted to call Edd and tried this one. Got Edd call in an a hour Able to reach tier 2 And got paid I had 6 weeks of

II hope this works I’m just concerned about my particular situation. If they can completely just cut me off and not pay me ever again. I have two small children I have to support.

I understand how scared it is… It all depends on who answers a call. I had rude, unhelpful rep and nice, professional rep both. If you can wait to see payment will be automatically paid, but Edd tell you you need to speak with Edd specialist. They do manually. If it’s been over months, I assume it’s identity issues holding your money In this case, you must speak to Edd

I had two pending. One day over 6 weeks .. I waited for automatic payment but it did not happen. I used this and found identity issue There’s no issue but they said that. Also contact your assembly member for help They help you edd issue as well

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this frustrating situation, Roxanne. It sounds like you may have an overpayment issue that's causing the hold on your payments. When EDD says you didn't report funds from previous months, they often place a hold until it's resolved. Here are some steps you can try: 1. the decision - you should have received a notice with instructions. If not, call and request the form. 2. Check your UI Online for any notices or documents they may have sent explaining the overpayment. 3. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact them, including dates and times. 4. Consider contacting your local assemblymember's office - they often have dedicated staff to help with EDD issues. The fact that they're still asking you to certify but not paying suggests the system recognizes your ongoing eligibility but there's a manual hold that needs review. Don't give up - you have rights and options to resolve this!

This is really helpful advice! I'm going through something similar where my payments just stopped out of nowhere. The assemblymember tip is especially good - I didn't know they could help with EDD issues. @Roxanne Skochko, have you tried checking if there's a specific overpayment notice in your UI Online inbox? Sometimes they bury important documents in there that explain exactly what they think you owe and why. It's so frustrating that they keep making you certify but won't pay - that seems like cruel and unusual punishment when you're already struggling financially.

I went through the exact same thing last year! They flagged me for "unreported income" even though I had reported everything correctly. Here's what finally worked for me: 1. File the immediately - you usually have 30 days from when they sent the notice. Even if you missed that deadline, still try to and explain why it was late. 2. Gather ALL your documentation - pay stubs, bank statements, anything showing what income you actually had during those months they're questioning. 3. If you can't get through by phone, try the "Contact Us" feature in your UI Online and submit a detailed message explaining your situation. 4. The assembly member route really does work - I contacted mine and got a response within a week, then my payments resumed within two weeks after that. The continuing certification while not paying is actually normal during disputes - they want to keep your claim active while it's being resolved. Don't stop certifying! Once they clear the issue, you should get backpay for all those weeks. Stay strong, this will get resolved!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience @Hugo Kass! It's really encouraging to hear from someone who actually got through this nightmare. I'm in a similar boat - been waiting 3 months now with no payments while they "investigate" something I supposedly didn't report correctly. The part about continuing to certify even when not getting paid is so important - I almost stopped doing it thinking what's the point, but now I see why they want you to keep the claim active. Did you have to provide a lot of documentation for your appeal, or was it pretty straightforward once you got someone to actually look at your case? And how long did the whole process take from start to finish?

I'm dealing with something very similar right now - EDD stopped my payments claiming I didn't report income, but I know I reported everything correctly. It's incredibly stressful when you're depending on these benefits to survive. From what I've learned lurking in this community, here are a few additional things that might help: 1. **Document everything** - screenshot your UI Online showing your certification history and any messages from EDD 2. **Request your payment history** - this can help prove what you actually reported vs what they think you reported 3. **Look for the "determination" letter** - they should have sent you something explaining exactly what income they think you failed to report and from which period The assemblymember suggestion is solid - I'm planning to contact mine this week. Also, some people have had luck sending a message through the "Contact Us" in UI Online specifically asking for a "redetermination" of their case. Stay strong @Roxanne Skochko - you're not alone in this fight! The system is broken but there are ways to get through it. Keep all your records and don't let them intimidate you into giving up what you're rightfully owed.
