EDD verification questionnaire never arrived - need help getting paid!

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I certified for benefits a couple weeks ago, but they told me some info needed to be verified to check if I'm still eligible. They mentioned a questionnaire I need to fill out, but I haven't received it yet. Anyone else deal with this? I really need to get this sorted so I can get paid. Any advice?

Ugh, I've been there. The EDD system is such a mess. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes they can send the questionnaire right away if you get someone on the phone.

I've been trying to call for days, but it's always busy. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

Calling is useless. I spent 3 hours on hold last week and got disconnected. 🤬

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

Can you give more details about how it works? Is it legit?

Yeah, it's legit. You just go to their website, pick the EDD line you need, pay, and they start calling. When they get a real person, your phone rings. Simple as that.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes EDD emails end up there. Also, log into your UI Online account and check for any new messages or alerts.

This happened to me last month. Turns out they had the wrong mailing address on file. Double-check all your contact info is correct in the system.

Good idea, I'll definitely check that. Thanks!

The whole system is rigged against us, I swear. They make it so complicated on purpose so people just give up. Don't let them win, OP! Keep pushing until you get what you're owed. 💪

Calm down, conspiracy theorist. It's just bureaucracy being slow as usual.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your UI Online account daily for updates or new messages. 2. Make sure all your contact info is up to date in the system. 3. Check your email spam folder regularly. 4. If you haven't received the questionnaire within 10 business days, you need to contact EDD. 5. Try calling early in the morning, right when they open. 6. If calling doesn't work, send a secure message through your UI Online account. 7. As a last resort, you can try contacting your local assembly member's office. They sometimes can help push things along. Don't give up! It's a frustrating process, but persistence pays off. Good luck!

Have you tried faxing them? I know it sounds ancient, but I've heard some people have had success getting attention that way.
