EDD: No update after submitting medical info, missing continued claim certification document. Help!

Ugh, I feel ya. The EDD system is such a mess rn. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Here's what you need to do: 1. Log into your UI Online account and check your inbox. Sometimes the certification link is there even if you didn't get an email. 2. If it's not there, try to certify anyway. Go to the 'Certify for Benefits' section and see if you can submit for the weeks you're missing. 3. If that doesn't work, you might need to file a new claim. The system sometimes glitches when transitioning from regular UI to disability. 4. As a last resort, contact your local assemblyperson or state senator. This happened to me last year. Turns out they had my old address on file. Double-check all your contact info is up to date in the system.
