EDD Impossible to Reach - Any Tips for Actually Getting Through?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble getting through to EDD again. I've been trying to connect with them for days now. Anyone else in the same boat or have any tips on how to actually reach a human being there?

I found a way to solve EDD phone connection issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjoltfBhx7U

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. It's like they're purposely making it impossible to talk to anyone 🤬

I swear they changed their phone system just to make it harder. Anyone else notice that?

Yep, definitely noticed. It's like playing a twisted game of chance every time I call 🎰

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20? Thats kinda steep. Is it really worth it?

I was skeptical at first too, but after wasting hours trying to get through myself, it was totally worth it. Saved me so much time and frustration.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I've had some luck getting through that way.

lol good luck. EDD is a joke. I've been trying to sort out my claim for months now. Might as well be shouting into the void 🗣️🕳️

Same here. It's like they're playing hide and seek with our benefits 🙈

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for way too long: 1. Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. 2. Try different times of day. Sometimes early morning or late afternoon can be less busy. 3. Have all your info ready before you call. They'll ask for your SSN, claim ID, etc. 4. Be polite but firm with the rep you get. They're probably overwhelmed too. 5. If one rep can't help, politely ask to speak to a tier 2 specialist. 6. Document everything. Write down who you talked to and what they said. 7. Check your online account regularly for updates. 8. Consider reaching out to your local assembly member for help. Hope this helps someone. We're all in this mess together 💪

Anyone else notice that their website is always "under maintenance" when you actually need to use it? 🙄

I heard they're updating their system soon. Maybe that'll make things easier? ...who am I kidding, it'll probably make everything worse 🤡
