EDD Claim Update: 21 Days Since New Medical Info Submitted, Still No Payment

I submitted new medical information for my claim update 21 days ago and still haven't been paid in months. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it usually take for them to process updated medical info? I'm getting really frustrated with the lack of communication.

I found a way to solve VA claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6ZH0aFFR1o

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been waiting for 2 months after submitting new docs. The system is so broken 😤

2 months? That's nothing. I've been waiting for 6 months and still crickets 🦗

Wow, 6 months? That's insane! Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

Yeah, I've tried everything. Local rep, calling every day, even sent a certified letter. Nothing works 🤷‍♂️

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken we have to pay just to get basic service 🙄

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After months of trying, I finally got through and got my issue resolved. Worth every penny imo

Here's what you need to do: 1. Call first thing in the morning, right when they open. 2. If you can't get through, keep calling throughout the day. 3. Be persistent and don't give up. 4. When you do get through, ask for a supervisor if the agent can't help. 5. Document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, what they said. 6. If all else fails, contact your local representative or the ombudsman. It's a frustrating process, but stay strong. You'll get through eventually!

have you tried faxing your docs? sometimes that works better than submitting online

Faxing? What year is it, 1995? 😂 But seriously, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the tip!

I'm in the same boat. Been waiting for months, no pay, bills piling up. This system is a joke 🤡

Hang in there, friend. We're all struggling together. Have you looked into local food banks or assistance programs while you wait?

Pro tip: call your state representative. They have special liaisons who can escalate your case. Worked for me after months of getting nowhere.
