No response 3 weeks after submitting new medical info to EDD - what to do?

I submitted new medical info for my claim 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back. No updates, no notices, nothing. I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced long delays after submitting additional info? What should I do next?

I found a way to solve long claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvgBBnhsiRE

Ugh, I feel ya. I've been waiting for over a month after sending in new docs. The system is so slow rn its ridiculous. Have you tried calling them?

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 20 mins on hold last week!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? No way, that's a scam

I get the skepticism, but it's legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Can you explain more about how it works? Do they give you a specific time when they'll call you back?

Sure! You choose the number you want them to call, pay, and they start dialing right away. When an agent picks up, they forward the call to you. No specific time given, but I got my call within a couple hours.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update stuff there without sending a notice.

3 weeks is nothing, buddy. I've been waiting for 2 months! 🤡 The whole system is a joke

Here's what you need to do: 1. Keep calling every day. Use the trick of calling right when they open. 2. Check your online account daily for updates. 3. If you have a case worker assigned, try emailing them directly. 4. Consider reaching out to your local state representative. They can sometimes expedite claims. 5. Document everything - dates you submitted info, called, etc. 6. If you're in dire financial straits, look into local assistance programs while you wait. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The squeaky wheel gets the grease in these situations.

idk man, maybe try faxing your docs? I heard from a friend that sometimes that works faster than online submission 🤷‍♂️

OP, what kind of medical info did you submit? I'm in a similar boat and wondering if I need to send in more documentation.

I sent in some new test results and a letter from my specialist. Thought it would help speed things up but I guess not 😅
